there has been a little mouse living down the walls and cupboards in the kitchen nibbling on our food..

So after a week of not so happy surprises in the breakfast cereals we went and bought a mousetrap.. and just
in case it would be a fat little fellow we got the biggest they had...
Set it up under the stairs with peanut butter as lure..
now there was only waiting..
but he never bought it.. smart little bastard this.. and he kept eating on our food.
So one day Nat heard him in one of the cupboards .. she's vegetarian and was the only one not liking the trap. So armed with a strainer "durkslag" and a frying pan in her hands and with me one meter behind with my boarding gloves on we thought we outta catch it..
opening the door and piece by raisin packet we emptied the cupboard..
and soon we saw him scared as hell trying to hide in a corner,
looking up on us while shaking as an autumn leaf he made a run for it.. but Nat caught him in the strainer and put the frying pan on top.
the evil little decease spreader were now imprisoned..
Nat got so happy she caught him so she ran around shouting in joy.
-I caught him, I caught him.! I caught Freddie.. that's what we decided to call him earlier when we first noticed holes in our bags..
I went up to leave my gloves when I heard Nat screaming again downstairs, and this time not in joy.. turned around down the stairs quickly again as the hullabaloo got more loud.
In the end of the stairs I encountered maybe the most hilarious scene in whistler history..!
There, by the kitchen table, I saw Nat slamming the strainer in Freddies little head crying.
-I don't want to kill him, I don't want to kill him!!
Apparently she got curious and wanted to see , according to her, the poor cute little furry pet and lift the lid.
what HE saw was a big eyed grinning scary giant ready to bolt him down in one piece and took his chance and just one lined it for the safety zone in the wall..
After 20 sec of wild joggling with a scared for life living mouse she got him on top of the table and put the lid on..
For better viewing we made a little nest in a shoe box with a peeking hole out of cellophane before we took him out to the woods..
also fed him with a peanut and some weed to get him relaxed..
and also to get the chance to see a stoned mouse hehe..
